It took us a full year to finally decide to put our son into karate, mostly because he can be pretty timid in unfamiliar environments, and like most four year olds, has trouble focusing during structured activities. We wanted to make sure he was emotionally ready, and understood that if he started something, he would stick to his commitment. After researching our options in town, we chose to enroll him at Guido's. Hearing nothing but positive feedback from friends who take their kids here, it has 100% lived up to our hopes. We love that not only is it a physical outlet, but also challenges our kids with character-building lessons and memorization of the "Black Belt Principles". After the first class, we saw an immediate sense of pride and confidence in his hard-work. Our son would literally choose to go every single day, if our schedules allowed. Every staff member, is so helpful and active at the dojo. An active owner speaks volumes, and Shihan involves himself in all age levels, which is great to see! We are thankful for such a great first experience into the martial arts community. Sign your kiddos up if you have been thinking about it, you will not regret it!
